Coral Newsprints Ltd was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on April 21, 1992 and certificate of commencement of business was given on June 23, 1992. The Commercial Production of the Company for Phase-I commenced on July 22, 1994.

The Company went to public with a public issue of Rs. 336.32 lacs in April 95 for Phase-II of its expansion programme. The issue was over-subscribed by 2.17 times. The present installed capacity of the Company is 12600 Metric Ton per annum. Presently, the Company is engaged in manufacturing of Newsprints and Absorbent Kraft Papers of different grammages at its existing factory located at Gajraula, Distt. Amroha (UP). The newsprint is used for the publication of newspaper and magazines while Absorbent Kraft is used for the manufacturing of Sunmica sheets.

Company was given certificate to commence its business on 23rd June 1992 by Registrar of Companies, Delhi & Haryana.

Company is registered with Ministry of Industry, Department of Industrial Development, New Delhi, having No. 2776/SIA/IMO/92 dated 07-07-1992.

Central Excise: Company is registered with the Central Excise, Range Gajraula, Distt. Amroha (UP), having Regn. No. ECC No. AAACC 2485 QXM001.

Sales Tax: Company is registered with Dy. Commissioner, Department of Commercial Tax, Hasanpur, Distt. Amroha (U.P), having CST No. HS5007072 dt. 31-08-1992 and TIN No. 09659400369.

Income Tax: Company is registered with the Income Tax Department having PAN No. AAACC2485Q.

Company is notified by Ministry of Commerce & Industry Government of India, Delhi, as a Mill producing newsprint to the Newsprint Control Order 1962, having Regn. No. D.L – 33004/99 dated 30-03-2001.

Management

The company is managed by the Board of Directors under the guidance of Shri Pushpendra Singh Chauhan(CEO). He is also incharge of marketing and commercial matters of the Company. They are aided by a team of experienced, dedicated and professionally qualified technical, financial and commercial executives at various levels.

Marketing And Selling Arrangements

The company is marketing its products all most all over the country through its Dealers network. At present, the company is having as many as 50 Dealers & Customers. The company is registered with Ministry of Industry & Commerce, New Delhi, under Newsprint Control Order 1962. Due to this, the Central Government exempted Central Excise duty and Central Sales-tax. Moreover, the State Government has also exempted state Value Added Tax. Due to this the company is having penetration in marketing and selling its newsprint to various reputed newspaper publishers who are registered with Registrar of Newspaper for India.

Future Plans

The company intends to enhance its existing capacity from 12600 to 16000 tons per annum. Therefore, certain equipments in its existing plant & machinery are to be added and upgraded to meet out capacity utilization. Company also expect to increase its turnover to 18.00 crore approximately.
